The dual fuel Carburetor has a special float assy in it. These floats are pretty tough to come by, and it's very easy to damage one of these float assys.  When these dual fuel Carbs sit in hedge rows for years and get water in them, there's not much room for expansion in the float bowl area, and if ice forms from the water being in the float bowl over the Winter, it could spell disaster for the large round float that is in these Carbs. Evenually crunch time happens and the float is junk. Here at B&B we have some nice used floats that we sell to keep that rebuild going.  These particular floats are restored.

NOTE: Because these floats are close to 90 years old, they may have a couple little dents in them here and there on the pontoon itself. These little tiny dents will not effect the operation of the float what so ever. All floats are inspected and tested for proper boyancy. Installed and adjusted correctly, they will perform as required.
